The Collective have spent the summer recording a CD that will showcase some of the best new music that Wales has to offer. Included on the CD will be the two pieces written for them by Keith Tippett - 'More Than Two Sides To A Story', and 'Whisper'.The CD is planned for release in early 2008 - more details nearer the time!

CNMC will be giving a performance as part of Cardiff's Michael Berkeley Festival in 2008, in celebration of the composer's 60th birthday. Other concerts will be given by the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Music Theatre Wales, Cardiff University, and the festival will be broadcast on BBC Radio 3. The Collective can also now be booked to play at any event through the 'Night Out' scheme. This project aims to take a variety of musicians and theatre shows to venues that might not be able to afford to hire them normally. They do this by offering shows at a discounted rate to community groups and similar organisations/venues. Click on the image to the left to visit the website.
